      Meet Ella

Ella is a wedding and lifestyle photographer. She divides her time between her new hometown of Montreal, Quebec, and her roots in Perth, Western Australia in the Australian summer months. A quiet observer of intimate moments, Ella’s photography chronicles the ephemeral moments of love that weddings and elopements are truly comprised of. Her meticulous attention to detail in her photographs works in harmony with her non-invasive approach, choosing to capture things naturally as they unfold. Ella studied Classical Music (Percussion) at WAAPA and also holds a BA in Urban Planning from Curtin University. In her spare time she indulges her wanderlust by travelling the world (her next expeditions are the Yukon and Iran later this year), dreams of space exploration and enjoys boards of both the cheese and game varieties.

      Meet Sara

From Jamaica and Canada, Sara is a wedding photographer and storyteller now based in the Laurentians just outside of Montreal. She is a graduate of photography at Dawson College. She admires Roald Dahl’s imaginative stories that permeated her childhood, Frida Kahlo for her outstanding portraits and Wes Anderson’s distinctive style of symmetry and pastels. Her dream destination is the colourful, culture-rich country of Jordan. Sara loves to travel and enjoy the company of her family and friends.

      Meet Steven

Hailing from Vancouver, B.C., Steven is a true creative. He ranges from storyteller, designer, artist, to musician. His intrinsic inner storyteller is evident in his videography skills, with his ability to take a backwards step to capture the essences of your wedding, giving you a picture perfect documentary reflection of the day. Steven’s videography will artfully encapsulate the effervescent joy arising from your wedding. When he doesn’t have his camera in hand, he’s exploring the world with his wife, rock-climbing, or indulging in nerdy activities. If he could teleport anywhere right now, he would be exploring ice caves in Iceland or meandering across New Zealand’s gorgeous landscapes.

      OUR INSPIRATION

We draw our inspiration from all aspects of the world around us. We are endlessly inspired by the rich world of fine art paintings – the dramatic portraits of Caravaggio and many Dutch vanitas to name a few favourites. Equally, we study the Magnum photography greats and await the World Press Photo Exhibition each year with bated breath. These all tie into our primary inspiration at the centre of our work: you and your love. Your love has a story to tell and this is our ultimate inspiration as we chronicle your day. We capture this in an honest, true fashion. Like the ageless pages of old fashion magazines, we photograph your enduring love with a timeless style.

      OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our work is an intimate love letter to the individuality of each couple, the adventures you share and the excitement of your future together. We want you to have a down to earth, relaxed experience with your wedding photography and videography, without the stilted forced shots. Your candid, romantic, genuine moments throughout the day is what we are here to document. We want the imagery we capture to become a tangible route that transports you back to all those precious moments. The sight of loved ones throwing their heads back in laughter, the happy pain of cheeks hurting from smiling, tears of joy warming your face, the tickle of a symphony of flutters crossing your chest. We’re here to capture the jubilation and intimacy of the whole adventure, bringing you back to it all.
