Rebecca and Marcelo have a gorgeous relationship. Their love for each other, their family, friends and dog Charlie was clear throughout the day. Their wedding started with an intimate ceremony in the gardens of la Maison d’Evelyn in Saint-Jude and ended with a spectacular dance party. Including a surprise Chilean dance performed by Marcelo’s family. Just before sunset, Rebecca and Marcelo allowed me to steal them away for portraits. We explored the surrounding gardens together. The light was golden. It was perfect.
Here’s a few words from the beautiful bride, Rebecca:
Finding our wedding venue was not easy. We were seeking the most picturesque location in the region where we both grew up, reminding us of our many travels over the years. Off the beaten path, with lush greenery, la Maison d’Evelyne almost seemed like it belonged somewhere in Tuscany; which is where we got engaged. On our wedding day, we were simply amazed by the beauty before us. We quickly began wondering how could any photographer successfully capture it. Not only was Ella able to capture the golden glimmer from the sunset, she was able to immortalize a feeling. Every picture emanates the love and joy we felt on that day. We feel very lucky to have found Ella. Her graceful work will allow us to revisit that special day for many years to come.
