Matt and Mark - New Year's Eve Wedding
Happy New Year, friends! What better time to blog this beautiful Australian New Year's Eve wedding than on December 31st, as I pack my bags getting ready for my next Australian adventure!
Matt and Mark had a wonderful New Years Eve wedding. The ceremony was at the Sunken Gardens within the grounds of the University of Western Australia in Perth. The university holds a special place in their hearts as it is where they met. It was perfect for the couple to return to where it all began and take the next step of their journey.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
"Oh, its so hard to pinpoint just one memory or moment. I was so pleased with the
beautiful ceremony our celebrant managed to craft that captured our love for each other,
weaving in our families, friends and some important traditions. I also loved getting
married on new years eve and having such a great celebration with our friends and
families" - Mark

of our friends and family, and feeling so incredibly loved" - Matt
Mark comes from both Scottish and Greek heritage, which meant there was a wonderful mix of kilts, scotch, whiskey and breaking of plates throughout the day. Photographing a wedding gives me the pleasure of observing wedding traditions of other cultures.
