Personal Branding Photography Session

Mystrie and I met in high school in Perth, Western Australia. It was such a pleasure to reconnect with her and to have the opportunity to photograph this personal branding session when I was back home in Perth visiting family. 

It’s always inspiring to me when someone makes a huge career change. Mystrie worked in the legal industry for over 14 years before starting her modern calligraphy company. She’s now a full time entrepreneur. Mystrie finds beauty in details and values quality over quantity. She sells engraved products, artwork as well as offering workshops.

What is personal branding?

I worked with Mystrie during a personal branding photography session. Someone's personal brand is their unique combination of capabilities and experiences. It is how you showcase yourself and brand to people, that leaves an impression. Building a strong personal brand is more important that ever, as it can strengthen your network, help you build brand visibility and show your point of difference. Having a visual representation of your brand is a really important way for potential clients to connect with your work.
