I spent the most wonderful afternoon exploring Barcelona with Laura & Ntamo for their maternity session. They were the perfect tour guides. We began our photo session with a coffee in a quintessential Spanish apartment, followed by a stroll through the Gothic Quarter and finished the evening with pizza. That’s my kind of photoshoot!
Words from the Couple
1. Tell us about how you two met.
We met online! I was studying a master degree in Madrid, Spain with Ntamo’s cousin. He was living in Sao Paulo, Brasil. She connected us and we started chatting. The connection since the first moment was extraordinary. The first time we talked we spent over 8 hours introducing ourselves. After some months talking online, Ntamo decided to move to Madrid to meet me in person. We spent the most exciting time there. Then we moved to Brasil for 6 months and after that, we decided to start our life together in Barcelona. It’s been 10 years since that first talk.
2. Why was a maternity photo session important for you?
Being pregnant is the most extraordinary thing ever! We wanted to capture this magical and unique moment in our lives and keep this memory forever; that’s why we chose Ella. We love her style, her sensibility and her unique ability to capture emotions and feelings.
3. How did you find working with Ella?
Working with Ella was sooo easy! We felt really comfortable. It was fast, natural and nothing felt forced. When you are not a professional model, it’s not easy to relax in front of the camera but Ella made it super simple and friendly. We loved the experience!
4. Now for the most important question, what’s your favourite restaurant in Barcelona?
